Hi everyone,

The Coffee World Is Moving Fast Toward Greener Packaging These Days. With Governments Cracking Down On Plastic Waste And Customers Actually Caring About What Happens To Their Bags After They Brew That Morning Cup, A Lot Of Big Roasters Are Finally Ditching The Old Single-use Plastics That Just Pile Up In Landfills Or Float Around In The Ocean.

2022

Down in Australia, Myerton Packaging has been pushing flexible bags made from wood-pulp-based NatureFlex film. They're designed for home composting, come with a one-way valve in a nice vertical format, and carry proper international certifications. Roasters love them because they work great for coffee and tea and don't need any fancy industrial facilities to break down.

In the States, Cafe Imports in Minneapolis quietly upgraded every single one of their green-coffee sample bags to 100 % compostable material (the zipper is still there but it's BPI- and ABA-certified for home compost). Throw it in your backyard bin and most of it disappears in 90–120 days with zero microplastics left behind. Pretty clean, right?

2020

New Zealand's Allpress Espresso was one of the early movers - back in 2020 they rolled out proper compostable bags in 250 g and 1 kg sizes. The idea was simple: roast, pack, sell, customer finishes the coffee, then the bag goes into the compost bin and the loop closes. It's helped them stand out in Australia and the UK as the brand that actually walks the talk.

Actually, your question is:
Do you often worry about not having a design and not being able to obtain free samples? We can provide you with free samples and designs provided by professional designers to help your product stand out and be environmentally friendly

All these moves line up with the big standards everyone now talks about - EU's EN 13432, US ASTM D6400 - and the best part is the coffee still tastes exactly the way it should while the carbon footprint shrinks.

That's why we built our own version of the biodegradable flexible composite bag. Multi-layer structure gives it serious barrier protection against oxygen and moisture, so beans or ground coffee stay fresh for months. It's fully compostable (industrial or home), breaks down naturally with no special treatment, and slashes plastic content by more than 90 %. You can still do full-color custom printing, and we keep minimum orders low so even smaller roasters can switch without going broke.

People in the industry keep telling me these bags are quickly becoming the default choice for any brand that wants to look (and actually be) sustainable. It's not just marketing anymore - it's turning into table stakes. The brands that get on board now are the ones customers will remember five years from now.
